Hi Ranchers,

I passed the SCWCD1.4 with 88%(On the last date of voucher validity).
I really can't believe that I got this much score. I am really happy with it.
Thanks for each of the Ranchers.. & thanks Kathy for such a nice forum..

Study material I reffered is HFSJ... a wonderful & enough book for the exam.. Thanks a lot to Kathy, Bert & Bryan
& Mark Peabody's Design pattern notes.. Mark, I got 100% in Design Patterns. Thanks for your just 3 pages notes to get near about 7-8 questions correct.

Among 11 sections I got 100% in 7 sections..

I was very irregular reader of the HFSJ.. I red the book only once in whole of the year.. I revised it once before the exam. Before the exam I studied 2 nights continuously & wrote the exam on third day.

I had not solved any mock exam other than the chapterwise mock exams from HFSJ. Even I had not solved the final mock exam in HFSJ.. (To lie I can say..lack of time... but the reality is I always prefer my Engineering principle.. 'Let the exam come on a day, & then I will start studying'.
I never have studied specs...

Exam is pretty easy.. & straight forward but lot much is there to mug up..
In exam only thing matters is "you know or you don't know". Nothing is tricky.. It's easier than SCJP..which I found very tricky.

Even though I have experience of around 1 year in web development, it really doesn't matter for the exam. What I (& many of today's web developers) am doing is a genuine copy-paste..

Next? I am thinking of three certifications SCBCD, UML, Oracle... but I'm bit a confused.. any suggestions are really appreciable...

Ok Ranchers... It's a party time now... All the best.
See you in next forum.. probably be SCBCD...
