I have written exam on saturday(09/06/2007) and passed SCWCD with
90%(62/69). i lost the marks in custom Tag libraries(3) and
thread(synchronized)(2) and Design patterns(2) concepts. Utilizing 3 hrs daily,I prepared on sat and sundays completely for about one month. Prior to this i had 2 years of experience in java and java ee.

My preparation:

I had intially targeted for 2 months of preparation as i am familiar
with all j2ee concepts, i collected all the materials for about one week
and then started the preparation.

My books or e-books are:

HEAD FIRST SERVLETS AND JAVA ---- If you want to pass SCWCD with
minimum of 80% this book is enough. Thorough reading of this is required.
Dont miss any word. I have read this book for two times. For me it has
taken two complete days to read the whole book. In final mock exam i got
74%(51/69).

Servlets and jsp Specifications ---- I have read servlets specs
throughly and used jsp specs minorly. I am pretty much confident in JSP so i have not looked at jsp specs. These two specs are really required for
the exam inorder to know methods necessary, declation rules etc....

" NO " to mock exam. When i prepared scjp (i got 75%) exam i have taken
around 50 mock exams and atlast i got messed up with all the concepts
during the exam. So this time i thought hfsj final exam is my first and
last mock exam i am going to prepare and got the result.

E-Book by Hanumanth Deshmukh ---- I have read the whole book in
one day and felt easy to prepare.

As people ask How to preapre in "XX" number of days.....If you utilize 7
full working days, we can get a minimum of 75% but you should have
atleast 1yr of java ee experience.
