HttpActivationListener question

Hi,
If an attribute or a regular class implements HttpActivationListener, should we need to declare in DD or not?

HFSJ says we need to. But an other mock exam I came across says we need NOT.

Which is true?

Thanks.

Hi,
probably you are speaking about javax.servlet.http.HttpServletActivationListener.
From the APIs:

Objects that are bound to a session may listen to container events notifying them that sessions will be passivated and that session will be activated. A container that migrates session between VMs or persists sessions is required to notify all attributes bound to sessions implementing HttpSessionActivationListener.

So, I don't seem you need to specify it in the DD.

My mistake, I meant HttpSessionActivationListener.

Till now I know Only HttpSesionBindingListener not to be declared from the above link it is given that even HttpSessionActivationListener also. Is it real? How can I test with different JVMs?
