Hi,

I am using Weblogic 9.2 for my applications.we found one issue that once we access a url then access the same url in a different browser. but Weblogic returns same session ID. We gave given like this in our jsp to check the session ID

"out.println(request.getSession().getId());"

Even if we access the url in different broweser the session ID getting printed is the same.

can any one provide a solution for this.

thanks,
Nishad

Not sure what is the problem. One of the reason to have a session, so that the web app knows its the same client regardless of browser windows. Most major commercial website work like this. You dont have to constantly be using the same browser window to maintain the same session.

Why would you want a different session-id, if you access the web-app from different instances of web-browser.

There are some problems existing with Weblogic 9.2.
I encountered a problem with <jsp:useBean> standard action. It was creating a new Bean in spite of the named Bean existing in the specified scope.

Try googleing for "known issues with Weblogic".
