Hello c: out 's default attribute not working

Hi Ranchers,

Please let me know anybody got output welcoming Guest with the following.

Hello <c : out value="${user.username}" default="Guest"/>!

Am i missing anything here ???


where as this one working
<c : out value="${user.username}">Guest</c : out>

When I copied and pasted the line of code it gave me some unneeded spaces.


Hello <c : out value="${user.username}" default="Guest"/>!


When I removed these 2 spaces that surround the : it worked fine.

While I have my server up and running, is there anything else you want someone to try or verify?
