In the following example i know it will print Kathy, brij, bartner..but i dont understand in <c:set>tag what the use of property attribute and how to use it practically...
<c:set var = "userLevel" property="name" >
Kathy, brij, bartner
userLevel is : ${userLevel}

If possible then kindly explain this doubt with example.

I think var version of <c:set/> cant have the property attribute.have you tried it?
target version can take one.But the target must evaluate to
Map or Bean Else container will throw an Exception.
