I just started preparing for SCWCD and i am in the fifth chapter of Head first servlets and JSP by Kathy sierra..At the end of the fifth chapter there are some mock questions.I could not able to answer the few questions like question no.12 on page number 219 with the material given in the Book as i had to refer to Servlets specifications.Should i use servlets specification beside HFSJ for preapring SCWCD 1.4 exam?
Thanks & Regards, Sudhakar Karnati

Absolutely. By the time you take the exam you should have read (and understood) the complete spec.
As per your suggestions i wanted to read the specifications before the exam.
But, what is the exact version for these specifications? I found in sun site, for J2EE 5, following versions are applicable. JSP: 2.1 (In 1.4: 2.0) JSTL: 1.2 (In 1.4: 1.1) Servlets: 2.5 (In 1.4: 2.4)
So, what do you suggest to read?
Thanks, Naresh

All three (Servlets, JSP, JSTL) are part of the exam objectives. The 1.4 exam is available only until the end of April 2008, so if you're not taking the exam until then, you'll want to study the JEE 5 versions. [ February 09, 2008: Message edited by: Ulf Dittmer ]
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
