Regarding JSP Custom Tags-performance issue

By using SimpleTagSupport, the tag handler class is not reused(For every tag call, the handler class is loaded, instanciated,doTag() called, object garbage collected).

But if we use classic tag, the tag handler instance is reused in pool.

So is using classic custom tag better than using SimpleTagSupport -on performance perspective?

Classic tag are more error pron as you have to initialize your instance variables in appropriate method, they are more complicated to develop that's for sure.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
