jstl.jar file not found

I have installed Tomcat6.0. However, iam not able to find jstl.jar file. I have searched the tomcat directory well. Can anyone please tell me where can i find that..any link or something so that i can start with JSTL

You didn't find because it's not there. Check this FAQ to download JSTL. (JSTL1.1 for the exam)

Thanks.. But iam using Tomcat6.0 , for which i guess JSTL 1.2.jar should be used. However as you said, JSTL1.1 is on exam. Does it make any difference if i go ahead with JSTL1.2 instead of 1.1 (as far as exam is concerned)? Can you pleae explain me the difference between these 2 versions.....i.e JSTL 1.1 and JSTL1.2?

Tomcat 6 supports JSTL1.2, but it doesn't mean you have to use it. The SCWCD5 exam is about JSTL1.1, so I'd recommend you to install JSTL1.1 to avoid any confusion. You can find a complete list of what's changed in the JSTL1.2 spec, section B.1 JSTL 1.2 Maintenance Release. There's not that much changed actually, but I still warmly recommend you to use JSTL1.1. Sticking to Tomcat 5.5 would be even better
