Problems in registration of SCJA beta

Hi all,
Has anyone registered the SCJA beta exam (311-019)?
I've tried registering for the exam 2day. But in the Exam selection screen , the exam number(311-019) itself is not available.
need some help in this.
If anyone of U has already registered this exam, can U plz post the exact link where that exam nuber appears??

It might be too early. I believe the exam list is not updated automatically.

Now, US is in mid night, so, Prometric staff will NOT stay in office to add the new exam into the list and you might wait for tomorrow to register again.

But they r telling that they haven't got the updated info.

Hi all, I register for the test on phone. Try to register using phone. Its easy. All the best to everybody appearing for this exam. Anybody, Please suggest how to prepare for this exam. Pls. suggest if u hv any idea how to crack the exam.

Anyway, the beta starts at mid-June, and thus, there is no need to hurry for registration since SUN does not limit the number of candiates.

For those asking for test sites in India (why aren't we getting any requests for test sites in Japan

), you can follow these instructions:

Go to http://www.2test.com

Select your area of study (hint: IT)

Select "Sun Microsystems" from "Testing Program"

Choose your country and state if applicable and click "Next"

Click "Locate a Test Site" (or "Schedule an appointment" if "Locate a test site" is not present).

Select "Sun Microsystems" from "Client", and "Sun Microsystems (310,311)" from Program and click "Next"

Read the information on Sun (NOTE THE CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSES) and click "Next"

Select "310-027 -- SUN CERTIFIED JAVA DEVELOPER" - The price should be displayed at the bottom of the screen (Note: SCJA is not currently present in the list)

Click "Next"

See the listing of the testing centers in your Country.

There were 113 test sites listed in India when I did this a moment ago.

i have just registered in iDomains Technologies-prometric center -bangalore.
The schedule for the exam is not decided by us...it's deciding by prometric center-depd's on the registration basis.....

Hope all u can register thro' anyone of..
