Hi, I have taken Java Associate Exam.. I have done it very well.do i required to take JCP exam also.. even after i pass scja exam.

Both SCJP and SCJA are very different. I think it will be benefitial for u to do SCJP as well.

I believe SCJP will still be the pre-requist for all other Java exams, unless SUN announced SCJA will be replacing SCJP in this purpose. Nick

There will not be a change in the prerequisites - you'll still need to be an SCJP to take the other Sun Java certs. HTH, Bert

Faris: Not that this is the right forum for such , but no, SCEA has no prerequisites. (Neither do SCJP or SCJA.) If you think about it, each one has a different job role, which is what Sun is big on - SCEA is for architects (who are not necessarily programmers), SCJA is for beginning programmers, and SCJP is for experienced programmers...
