I registered for the SCJA exam, a day after the SUN announced the free SCJA beta certification exam. I registered at NIIT Bangalore, India and I got the exam date 27-Jun-2005. But when I went to take the exam, I was told that they didn't receive any confirmation for the exam against my name and that they would let me know as soon they receive confirmation about it from SUN. After that day, I am calling to them regularly but unfortunately I'm receiving the same reply that SUN hasn't responded yet. As I have already spent my time in preparing for the exam, so I want to take it, though I am SCJP1.4 certified. Please do the needful that help me to write the exam before 5th of July.
Thanks in anticipation!

You should send the mail to SUN directly, as SUN's representatives are not expected to be appeared here regularly, although there are some moderators who worked closely with SUN.
In addition, if you are sure that you had registered in the exam, can you see your record in the Prometric Website? How did you register for the exam?

Sun is discouraging certified Java "experts" from appearing for SCJA, refer posting by Dave & Bert at http://www.coderanch.com/t/178351/java-SCJA/certification/ve-just-took-exam, just think about - is it worth appearing for the SCJA exam when we hear statements like "It's like if a guy with a college degree were to denegrate the test that an eight grader was taking - very inappropriate!".
