6-8 weeks after the last possible day to take the exam. Not from when you personally take the exam. The 6-8 weeks is for Sun to exam the results and remarks and determine which questions make the exam and how many questions, and what the passing rate will be. Then they grade all the tests and will return the results when all of that is done.
Quite a bit of work for them to do. And they can't start until all Beta testers have completed their exam, including those late ones waiting till the last day to take their exam.
1 doubt. Since this is a beta exam, will we get any physical copy of the mark sheet or any certificate as such?

Hi Girish,
Yes we will. Last time I took a beta exam I got a snail mail from Sun which included my grade sheet. Unfortunately, I did not pass that's why it didn't have any certificates with it.
Passing the exam, entitles you to the full status of Sun Certified Associate for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, and you will receive a Sun certification kit.
The score report will be sent to you from Prometric after the result concluded.
That's great! So if you pass. What would you put on the resume? SCJA or SCJA Beta?

SCJA as even the score report you received is based on the actual exam numbers, not based on 122 questions. That is to say, if SCJA finally contains 60 questions, our performance will be based on xxx questions correct out of 60 questions. So, we actually don't know how well we did for the beta.
Also, the exam code shown in the score report is 310-019, NOT 311-019.
