I took the exam today. Some parts were easy, but others a bit more difficult. Mostly of the knowledge questions I found quite easy, you either know the technologies or you don't. I did find the language questions a little more taxing, the iteration (looping) ones particularly so. Don't use Java (or even OO) at work  , so I guess that even with my home studies, the problem is a lack of use.
Lastly, special thanks to Mahesh Kumaraguru, for setting up the SCJA yahoo group (SCJA Group, and also to other fellow JavaRanchers..
