Hi Wilder,

I am waiting for the official results as well, I took the SCJP 5.0 beta and prometric said I passed but CertManager later said I failed. And what Certmanager says is final.

By the way, you have the exact same java certs that I have, same certs and same versions. What are you going for next, SCJP 5.0 or SCDJWS. I doubt the value of SCJP 5 over SCJP 1.4, but I have already studied alot for it so I am going on with it.

MCPD (Enterprise Application Developer, Windows Developer, Web Developer - .NET 2.0), MCTS (Windows Apps, Web Apps and Disbributed Applications - .NET 2.0), MCITP (Database Developer & Business Intelligence Developer - SQL Server 2005), MCAD, MSCD.net, SCJP 5, SCWCD 1.4, SCBCD, SCMAD, SCDJWS, SCJA

I didn't notice I don't have the Java Developer Certification, never felt like doing the assignment. I probably should though.

If you'd read the announcement... They're officially releasing the results through i7 on Friday. Whether or not the results on Prometric's site are accurate, they'll list in more detail through i7 (and bear in mind that Prometric's site may not be accurate).

I'm personally more interested in knowing what the passing score is going to be, but that's just idle curiosity.

The passing rate is 68% (35 correct in 51 questions).

It is a bit out of my expectation, but still, it is acceptable.

A bit out of mine too, but that's how life works. Where did you find that, out of curiosity?

What is your expectation Nick?
I expected the passing score of SCJA is 70%+, but 68% is still acceptable.

The same here. I expected 70%, and preferably 75%. But still, 68% is fine.

How about set it to 90% ? Then SCJA will be a valuable certification.
In fact, 68% is acceptable for entry certification. If it is too high, beginners will lose their interest.

Actually, I'd expected it to be lower, around 60%. But that really depends, I suppose on just what is expected out of an 'associate'. I think either way you look at it, this hopefully will be a good stepping-stone for newcomers to the field.

This is one of the difference between beta exam and real exam.

Although we worked for 122 questions, however, there will be xxx out of 51 questions in our score report. No one knows whether we took beta exam or not, from both score report and the certificate.

Where can i find all these info?

Read my previous post and you will find the info from:

2 Sep is for US time. Also, based on other beta experiences, the exam result is released by batch. Thus, please expect that the result is available at "late" 2 Sep.
