Please excuse me for my ignorance. What is the SCJA exam, and is it more suitable for students and project managers rather than actual Java programmers/developers? I already have a SCJP 1.4 and is now working on a SCJD. Should I also attempt with the SCJA? Lastly, is there any good books or study aids on SCJA?

Yes because it is actually test you on a board knowledge on various Java technology, and the detail of the technologies are not tested.
