Hi, my name is Jeffry. In 20 July 2007 I failed SCJA exam with 62% because I was underestimated the exam. However, in 27 August 2007 I passed SCJP 5.0 exam with 68% (that was a tough exam).

In order to retake the SCJA exam, I ordered the book titled "SCJA Sun Certified Java Associate Study Guide for Test CX-310-019, 2nd Edition". The book arrived in 28 November 2007 (can't wait for the book).

Can you give the testimony about that book ?
Can you tell me the different between first edition and second edition ?

Thanks before

Well, first off, you need to know that you're going to pass this time around.

The first edition had 300 pages, the second has over 400. Plus, the second edition has corrected a huge whack of typos, but don't worry, we've added a few new ones into the mix as well, just so you dont' feel ripped off.

The first edition had a great level of success getting my students certified, but it was a bit lapidary. The second edition is much more refined, I dropped the "ExamScam" name because so many people complained that it was a disservice to the book, and I switched publisher, so it has a much wider distribution.

Thanks for the order. If you have any questions, feel free to message me through JavaRanch.

Kind regards!

It's a pleasant to get the reply directly from the author.

I'll wait for the arriving of my book and then start to prepare for the exam. When I took the exam unpreparedly, I get only 62%. I'm sure when I take the exam again I'll pass, especially with the presence of your book.

Wish me luck !!!

Thanks
