Just wanted to share my experience about SCJA exam (which I took on 4/12/2008) and thank Cameron for writing such a wonderful book (Scja Sun Certified Java Associate Study Guide For Test Cx-310-019).
The first few questions in the exam were nowhere close to my understanding. For a minute I thought, no way I could pass this exam, but I took a deep breath and decided that I was going to give it my best shot. Guess what? I got 90% in the exam.
How I prepared for it: --------------------- (1) http://faq.javaranch.com/view?ScjaFaq - follow (2) It is worth paying $35.00 for Sun's SCJA practice exam (3) Read Scja Sun Certified Java Associate Study Guide For Test Cx-310-019). (4) Take practice test on www.scja.com
It's amazing how the first couple of questions on an exam can really catch you off guard. Sun's always trying to knock you off your game, but they obviously couldn't do it to you. 90% is a very, very impressive score.
Congratulations. And I'm so glad my resources could play a small part in your great success.
