SCJA Preparation List

Hello all,

I have compiled the following reading list as a preparation to SCJA:

Head First Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
Head First Java, 2nd Edition
SUN e-learning: WJB-110-SE6 Fundamentals of the Java Programming Language
SUN e-learning: WJTB-310 Java Platform Overview for Managers
SCJA Study Guide for Test CX-310-019, 2nd Edition

Please let me know if the above is sufficient. I am thinking of completing the above in 3 weeks (fulltime). I do not have any Java background and am with structured programming experiences.

Please advise and Thank you.

Yes it is more than sufficient.
I think three weeks is a reasonable time. You can also refer to Kathy Sierra book for SCJP to clear your concepts.
All the best.

I think it looks like a good list. I'm not totally sold on the Sun e-Learning courses. Perhaps you could post back and let us know what you thought of them, not just as courses, but as SCJA prep courses as well.

Good luck on the SCJA exam!
