Can any body suggest me which will be the best book to start for a scjp.
I have taken a class in JAVA for 40 hours.
Depending on this which book I can start with.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
