Do we need a backend like oracle, sql server in our project.
Or, do we need only a flat file in binary format.
If binary format, then how to write a binary file in Java.
The core Java book says, DataOutputStream can be used to write binary files.
If thet is the way to write binary files, then why is the class given by sun (i.e) FieldInfo and DataInfo implemets serializable.
I get a doupt, if we use ObjectOuputStream, is it possible to write a binary file. I think it is not.
Please give me some suggestion on these
