Submitting Assignment

After submitting the assignment, should you wait until you
get the go ahead from Sun before signing up for the exam? It'd be a bummer to go ahead and pay and sign up and then find out that for whatever reason your project was already insufficient.
I mean, I have confidence, but I'm also cautious. Also, I've heard that if there is a problem with your assignment (i.e. deadlocks or whatnot) then you have an opportunity to resubmit, but I've also heard that you o not and you have to repay and download a whole new assignment. Does anyone know for certain which it is?

According to the Sun Education website, it mentions that the assignment will be reviewed only after you have taken the exam. If your assignment has some problem you need to fix, they allow the re-submission for only once, but you need to pay $125US for the re-submission. For the exam itself, you do not need to retake.

Thanks Rudy,
But I thought they used your assignment to ask you specific questions about why you chose to do what you did. For instance, why you chose to use a Vector instead of, say, an ArrayList. Oh well, your input is appreciated. Thank you.

As i understand it the questions are constructed to fit everyone that has completed the SCJD programming assignment.
You are required to know not only the things you choosed to implement but the alternatives as well (someone that choosed sockets for the assignment must be able to answer a question about RMI and vice versa)
Exempel q's ive seen includes "There are at least two ways to deal with exception handling, describe them and explain your choice for the assignment." and in your case a question as "Vector, ArrayList and Hasttable might be used to store information in the locking mechanism. What are the pro's and con's with each of them and argue for you choice in the assignment", might occur.
Oh, you get the point, good thing im not hired by SUN to write the questions
Regards,
Aron
