sir I am learning java and preparing for certification in the month of july. pls tell me which area should i concentrate more these days ,i mean i have only the month of april and may to learn java as i have my university exams.the adv. tech i am talking about are JSP,EJB,Servlet,Swing,CORBA,RMI,Networking,JDBC,XML,Beans etc. pls also tell me which technologies are needed for Distributed Applications & for standlone applications

I think you are wanting a book's worth of information condensed into a sentence. I also don't think you can expect to "learn java" in 2 months. However, I will say that the only technologies you mentioned that are employed in SCJD are RMI, Networking, and Swing. You could probably get more information if you moved over to the Architects forum as I believe they employ all of those that you mention. I think your question is a little too vague to provide any more info.
