How do you know you successfully modified it? I suggest you to put some debug statements to know for sure you are modifying the data. Calling modify() worked for me with the Sun supplied version. Also there is a possibility that you are modifying one db.db file and using other db.db file for searching flights. This can happen if you don't take care of creating/finding Data instance for remote/local mode of operation properly. [ June 18, 2002: Message edited by: Sai Prasad ]
After you modify, can you see data ever again, even if you restart your app. I had had that, and what was happening was I was modifying the db.db file but incorrectly, it was actually corrupting the db.db file. Make sure your DataInfo class you pass to modify is correct. Mark
