Hi ranchers! I have done my SCJP2 and now i wanna do SCJD too. guide me how can it be easy for me. How is the process of certification and how much money i need to do this. Whether or not there is any assignment too? Regards Farhan

SCJD is an assignment followed by an essay exam. The assignment costs $250 to download. The essay exam is $125-$150, I am not sure. The assignment has no time limit and most people finish it in about 120 hours.

I have not taken it yet, but it is essay questions. They ask you about your design decisions. I think the main purpose is to validate that you are the one who did the assignment. Also, they will not grade your project until you take the written test. So take it as soon as you upload it.
