Is it worth???

Hi all,
in jan i cleared programmer certification..
then i was thinking for SCJD but i came to know
that after spending 7000 bugs for SCJP still i didn't
got the returns...
and then there was sudden fall in the market as well
in JAVA. Then Java programmers comming back from USA..
and finiding a job becomes very difficult..
now i m again thinking of giving the exam instead of sitting
idle.
my first questions are
1.Is it worth putting 15000 RS??
2.Is it too difficult??
3.From where should i start??
4.Which book should i refer..?
5.How much duration will it take?
6.What is the procedure for giving the exam
