I just got my result and I passed with 148/155. Thanks to everybody supporting me. I'm quite happy, because I took 3 days for the assignment and the essay.

Well, I really took 3 days for the complete assignment. I never thought that I would pass the exam, but somehow I made it.(..and I got very less sleep during that time...) One of the reason, why I passed the test that quickly was surely the fact that I got a lof of information concerning the Flight by night services reading the messages posted here. (.. again thanks to everyone...) I'm a Java Developer since 6 years, so I had some experience in writing Java Applicaions. The most difficult thing in my opinion was writing the lock/unlock methods (Wow, am I glad that I choosed the right way!!)! My detailed result was: General Considerations(maximum = 58): 58 Documentation(maximum = 20): 20 GUI(maximum = 24): 20 Server(maximum = 53): 50 For the GUI, I choosed the Model-View-Controller Pattern. The Data Object itself was a singleton and the communication between the controller and the data object is done by a proxy, that can be local or remote, so the controller has not differ between local or remote method calls. The controller gets his reference to the appropriate proxy via a factory returning a local or remote Proxy object.

Yep, sure! I will take part I of the architect on 6. oct! Since I have developed a lot of EJB and JMS application, I hope that it won't get that difficult. But security is still a weak topic, so I hope I'll find any good books concering security. Thanks anyway!
