Hi all
I cleared SCJP2 and SCWCD. Could anyone please help me decide if I should go for SCJA or SCJD. And if I would like to go for SCJD where can I find resources and mock assignments if any.
Thanks in advance

Hi Praveena! How are you? Wow, you just passed SCJWD, and now you are ready to move on. Just remember to keep posting on the SCWCD forum to answer my questions.
As far as you question, it is a tough question. It depends on what you want next
If you take Architect next then it will work well with your Web Developer Cert. You will continue to learn about EJBs and UML and Design Patterns. You will get a design assignment. You can also use this experience afterward to do the Developer Exam. With all the Design Pattern experience you should find the design for the Developer exam easy
If you take the Developer Exam you will get some valuable hands on experience with Java using the Core APIs and actually using Patterns. You will also get to know the great people here on this forum for the Developer Exam.

Both Exams are more time consuming than the SCJP and SCJWD.
Either way, you will do the other after. so flip a coin
Good Luck
Mark

Thanks Mark. I will be lurking at SCWCD forum to answer the questions I am aware of.
