RMI Multi-Threaded Server

When I create an RMI server that loads the registry and exports a remote object am I creating a multi-threaded server? I ran client code that started 10 threads and hit the server and they appeared to run concurrently. [br]
Are there any other steps necessary in creating a multi-threaded RMI server? I feel like I'm missing a big piece of the puzzle.
