Hi,
I received my SCJP a few months ago. Now, I'm thinking of writing the Developer certification. What books can anybody recommend for this? I used Khalid Mughal's book for the SCJP.
Thanks.

Well, I would not say that there are books out there geared specifically towards SCJD. However, I would first take a look at the design patterns book by Cooper, which is free. Put the keywords "Cooper, design, patterns, java" and you should find a link to the site, also the book is free in PDF format. Also, visit the swing tutorial on java.sun.com to start looking into how to develop a GUI. Hmmm, then just start experimenting and coding, I do not know how much coding experience you have, if you have enough SCJD is not very tough, just takes a lot of work. If you have never coded before, start experimenting with FORTE and have fun Good luck!
