Requirements question

There is a sentence in the requirements document which is a little bit unclear to me, could somebody explain this:
"The remote client code that you write must provide all the public methods of the suncertify.db.Data class."
Does this mean that your RMI Server class must have the same public methods as the Data class ? Or am I completely wrong here ?

Basically the "Adapter class" to the data class will have the exact same methods and signatures as the Data class. You will create an interface with those methods, and create two implementations of it. One for remote, and one for local.
