How to prepare for Java Developer Test

I would may know how to i can prepare to Java Developer Test.
I would like to get informations about (Books, Tutorials, how is the exam, etc...)
In Java Programmer i have done any mock tests. Have anything similar for Developer Test?

Well, if your a pretty good Java 2 coder, then I would suggest Design Patterns by Eric Gamma et. al. and The Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide by (our own JavaRanch sheriff) Michael Ernest et. al.
Of course the best place to get ready for the Dev exam is right here on this most excellant forum!

There is a great wealth of knowledge here from dudes that have already climbed the mountain

To be honest, there isn't much prep you *can* do for the developer's exam. If your knowledge of the Java language and the important API are strong, you should be able to jump right in.
Unlike a traditional cert, this one tests your ability to reason/design/implement rather than just knowing about a certain technology.
As for design patterns go, the book Michael recommended should work, but there is a wealth of information regarding these subjects on the web. I pretty much used resources from java.sun.com as well as studing some prevalent, highly used ones I found poking around w/ Google.
I really haven't had any experience in a real development enviroment(I'm still attending school) and the cert was probably the best $400 I've spent in a while. You'll learn more here by trying, retrying and in my case, retrying some more :roll:
It's also (believe it or not) quite fun

Just ask a lot of qs here, there are some real gurus here(*cough* Mark *cough*

) who can help you through just about anything
