Hi all members,
Can you all please provide me with some guidance on how to go about designing the application for this exam. I have looked into the design patterns and various books, but havent yet been able to put anything together. The patterns seem to only confuse me , as there are too many . Can you also give me the names of the frequently used patterns . I am getting very anxious as its already more than a month now and i have only been reading books without any major output

Below are the patterns that I am using for the assignment:
Singleton, Proxy, Mediator, Factory and Observer.
I suggest you to think through the design and come up with an object model before getting in to coding. I know this is difficult. But as you know once you start coding, you will probably change the entire object model you've arrived at the beginning.
I wouldn't rush in to it. My goal for this assignment to learn RMI, threads and various patterns in addition to passing it! Good luck.

THanks for the quick reply Sai. I hope i will now be able to make progress. I look forward to more help as i progress (probabaly a design review by the members here will help me a lot to gain confidence). Thanks again
