Hi, I'm preparing for the Developers Exam and I've got a (probably not so) weird question. I do a lot of development/research at home and have build a nice utility package for myself. When creating the code for the Developers Exam, would I be able to use this library, even though it contains a lot of utilities for things that aren't in the exam (like tools for ejb's, ldap)?

My requirements tell me to use the standard Java packages whenever possible. Also, when you submit you have to make a list of and provide a high level description for each class you are submitting. This would include all of your utility classes. I would steer away from using these and keep it as simple as possible.

If your utility is something that doesn't already exist in the SDK, and it has to be used because there is no other solution, then you could extract it from your utility code and put into a seperate class for the assignment.
