Do Sun publish details of how many SCJD's that there are in each country? I'm specifically interested in the number in the UK.
Does anyone know how many SCJD's there are the UK?

I think Sun makes a point of not saying anything about the number of certified Java programmers, developers, etc.
Not sure why. Does anyone know why Sun would be so quiet about these numbers?

My guess is because people could use those numbers for their own evil. Microsoft might try spreading rumors that Java is dead just because these numbers went down a little. Maybe just because right now the numbers wouldn't compare to Microsoft's numbers, and again not wanting to get into a fight over it.
We all know Microsoft is evil through and through.
