Hi, all. A couple more thoughts to share/discuss. 1. I assume that command-line way (no GUI) of starting RMI server is appropriate. Please, tell me if I'm wrong. 2. I also do not plan to provide any means (Gthru UI or command-line) to stop RMI server. I think it's an overhead. If anyone disagrees, please, let me know your thoughts/arguments. Thank you

Hello Andrew, I just included in my documentation the command to start the RMIRegistry and told then to use Ctrl C to stop it. Now I didn't bother with a smooth shutdown for the server but I know lots of people who did. It's probably one of those things where you will definetly pass but you might get an extra mark or two for a smooth shutdown. Good luck Ian
