I have implmented Look And Feel feature in the app in which the client can select the Look And Feel for his choice (metal, motif, windows) during his session and by default it is is system look and feel is used.
Is it an overkill ???
Should i go ahead with this or remove it ??

Is it in the requirements and is it a big deal to create? That was always the bases of my decision is something is overkill.

Java Look and Feel Guidelines do not recommend switching look and feel at run time. You may be penalised for your extra feature that is discouraged by the guidelines.
