Hello Friends,
I am loading data in JTable when client screen comes up. It works fine in local mode. In remote mode some time the data in JTable shows up on the screen and some times it does not. Data is getting properly in GUI as combo boxes table columns are coming properly. Data comes properly when i click on search button. I am loading data on screen on system startup as a seperate thread. I am also using SwingUtilities so that GUI is updated by event dispaching thread.
Any idea what might be wrong ? I am planning to remove threading bacause of this reason

Originally, I did load my JTable with the entire database on startup. It worked fine, so the threading may be your problem.
However, I did change my program to begin with an empty table on startup because I was concerned that startup would be really slow with a larger database.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
