I am new to RMI. Going thru ranchers mails & RMI tutorial, I am little informed about it now. I did not understand ranchers talking about getconnection() method returning ConnectionFactory. what is this ConnectionFactory & getConnection()?
could u pl explain me?

Hi Nagu,
You can find a explanation here. Towards the end, I give some pointed advice on how to approach the RMI issue.
For a working example, think of any ejb you've ever worked with. Your factory would function like a home interface, and getConnection would function like create();
