Hi all,
I did get my results yesterday, and I passed. However i missed 10 points on general considerations. Now i would like to know what i did wrong, but Sun does not supply anything. I think this is kind a shame, since this is a big learning point. Someone actually grading your code and giving remarks on it, so you have a learning excercize afterwards.
Why don't they do it ?
regards,friso

Hi friso,
Well general considerations incurs many things. My guess is that you lost several points on not complying with the Java code conventions. Most of the sample code that I have seen posted on this forum by candidates rarely implements all or even most of those conventions. Also under this category is how meaningful were your variable and method names?
Ease of use also comes under general considerations. Only you can say whether or not users would have a tough time using or learning the GUI.
Finally there is clarity and maintainability of the design and implementation. How easy is your design to follow and more importantly, how easy is it to extend?
Don't dwell on it too much. After all you're now a SCJD2! So go buy a bottle of champagne and good cigar and celebrate.
Congratulations,
Michael Morris
