Where does this method actually implemented? in the server side or client side? if it's implemented on the client side, are we gonna get an lockmanager instance from the server?
and what are the other things that we need to know if we are to implement this method on the client side?

Hi Kruger,

do we need to duplicate lockmanger class on the server side to client side if we are to implement lock and unlock for the local mode ??

You don't need a lock manager in local mode since there is never more than one client connected to the database.

Hope this helps,
Michael Morris
