README not required in the beta?

Hi folks. I did not see anything about including a readme file in the instructions for the beta. Does this mean we don't need to include it? If you recommend including a readme anyways then can you tell me what should go in the file? Thanks!

Tybon,
I was wondering whether we should include the README.txt also. Maybe we should send an email to who2contact@sun.com or just ASSume that it's not required.

I would include it, just because it's a best practice to do so.

I have never worked on a previous SCJD so I don't know what should be included in the readme...

I meant in general, for any application you write.

I'll include README.TXT. RHE gave a sample where I found it should be short and provide the command line supports in words.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
