Help in the application

I'm finishing my FBN application and I would like to know if it is needed to have help in the application itself.
I explained how to use the application in the readme.txt file, but maybe it is needed or nicer to provide it in the application as well.

My requirements state something to the effect that the help "may" be online (meaning accessible from a help menu item).
I think it would be a good idea, since what self-respecting app doesn't have "online" help? That doesn't mean your entire documentation (e.g., design decisions) has to be online.
