Hi there, I am ready to upload my assignment. I went back to read the email from Sun regarding my assignment. It mentioned: "Some candidates experience problems uploading files greater than a 1000K. Our database management team suggests optimizing the graphics to reduce the file size to between 200k and 400k." I am wondering if anyone had any problem uploading big size of file? My final jar file size is a little bit over 100kb. Can one uses tar.gz or even tar.bz2 format for the submission because they can make file size smaller? Thanks for any help.
100KB, is less than their recommended size. Or do you mean yours is larger than a Meg in size? Can you reduce the size by making your images into .jpg? Mark
My mistake. You are right. I meant over 1000kb. JPG helps a little but not much. I sent email to who2contact@central.sun.com. She asked me to try it and let her know if any problem. I am going to try it the end of today.
