Hiden field in JTable

Can anyone show me how to include the rec number into the table as a hiden field? Thanks,

What do you need this field for? The primary key (i.e. flight number) should be enough to rcognize the entry in the flight table.

You don't want to do this. Conceptially, JTable is just a rendering tool to display the data. It should know nothing about the underlying mechanisms of where and how this data is stored. This is a universal OO principle of separating responsibilities among the appropriate objects/classes/components .
