If this is how the assessor is supposed to start your program, you are running a good chance of an automatic failure, -- there is a note in requirements in huge fat bold black letters that says that your program must run under any platform. Not sure what Unix/Mac/Linux will say if you attempt to run your batch files, but it would be something to the extend that Bill Gates is an asshole who marketed an inferior operating system. Eugene.

Eugene, You are perfectly right about that, these bat files are not at all at their place here, plus assholes often market inferior operating systems. I also think I should put the javadoc in a javadoc.jar (not exploded in the main jar like here), and the java files in sources.jar, just like the classes are in server.jar and client.jar. That would leave me with: readme.txt designChoices.txt server.jar client.jar FBN_services_user_manual.htm FBN_services_user_manual_files/image002.jpg FBN_services_user_manual_files/image004.jpg FBN_services_user_manual_files/image006.jpg FBN_services_user_manual_files/image008.jpg FBN_services_user_manual_files/image010.jpg db.db policy javadoc.jar sources.jar META-INF/ META-INF/MANIFEST.MF Charles.
Charles, My copy of the assignment does not include anything used for testing in the list of things to submit. Does yours? If not, then I don't think I'd send it. [ February 10, 2003: Message edited by: Burk Hufnagel ]
