Can you guys help me out with a clash in the requirements?
The requirements say that a RecordNotFoundException should be thrown if a record is marked as deleted
but the UI requirements say that it MUST allow the user to search the data for all records
should I be displaying deleted records ?
thanks

there is no question of deleted records. deleted record is deleted, and it is out. only when you are creating new records, u can search for the same record which is already deleted, and activate it, or can create another. decision is yours. so you have to provide search in the active records only, and not in the deleted list.
