that version.
More an question:
When I create several concurrent client ( for example, 20 clients each of making 20 books) I got the error message:
java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: gti-2.cefetpi.br; nested exception is:

Does the "b" in the version stand for Beta. If so, then no the version is not acceptible, even though they are past version 1.4.0 in production.
You need a production version of the SDK from Sun's website. www.javasoft.com. Download one of the 1.4 versions that does not say Beta, recompile your code and test ti, if it runs you are good for submission.
Good Luck.

Hi Claudio
According to our FAQ question "What version of the SDK should I use: 1.3 or 1.4?, 1.4.0-b92 should be OK. "The '-b92' refers to a particular build, so as long as you are using what was a full release (FCS) then there will be no problem.".

Hi Claudio,
The concurrent connections issue crops up from time to time (here's one example). It appears that the problem is with the Sun RMI Registry, so it is not something we have to worry about. Putting a short delay (10ms) between each thread's attempt to connect seems to fix the problem: I have had up to 100 connections working simultaneously as long as I had the delay.

Thanks, Andrew for your suggestion.
I am download the sdk 1.4.0-b92 from link:
http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.0/index.html
It is 3:00PM
The rate of download is slow ( about 9kpbs), therefore i will sleep a bit.
I will schedule to exam to next friday, so tomorrow test it the my assignment using the versionn 1.4.0-b92 and will try the upload in this wednesday.
More a question: If I wont upload the assignment tomorrow, could I do the upload of my assignment ( about 2MB) next week ( maybe, next monday ) , after I take the essay exam?
I am realy sleepy
Good night!!

Hi Claudio
could I do the upload of my assignment ( about 2MB) next week ( maybe, next monday ) , after I take the essay exam?

2Mb - wow! Mine, including graphical class diagrams, was only 900Kb.
You are supposed to upload the assignment before you sit for the exam. Sun / Prometric have been quite tolerant of people uploading one or two days after they sat the exam when the candidate has had trouble uploading the assignment, but if they decided to be strict about it, you could be in trouble.

Thanks a lot, Andrew, for your important suggestions!!
I tried to do upload of my assignment I got an error saying to me
that I have not rigths to upload it. Well, I send a email to
who2.contact@central.sun.com requesting for them give me rights
to I can do upload.
I would like to do the upload until tonight. If I couldnt to do that
upload maybe I reschedule the essay exam to other weekend after I
do the upload it.
I schedule the exam to Aug, 29th 3:00PM., therefore if I will want
remark the exam I have until tomorrow for reeschedule it in site www.2test.com
