How do I list the ports that are in use on my machine and close them all in one command. I know Ctrl-C to stop the server but how do I close all of the listening ports.
OK, I'm a little confused. In the assignment you will have one port listening for RMI calls. When you shut down the server, it sill no longer listen on the port. That is all you really need to do. I don't understand why you want to "Close" all the ports or some of them. It is really whats behind the port that is listening. Mark
