Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of searching for a bilingual Japanese / English assessor to score the Developer and Architect exams. The individual can be just a Developer assessor or an Architect assessor. Knowledge in both would be great. Assessor location is flexible.
Requirements:
1) Must be a Sun Certified
Java Developer for the Java 2 Platform (Sun Certified Programmer is a prerequisite) and Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for
J2EE (all parts), with at least 3 years of Java programming experience and at least 7 years of overall programming experience.
2) Bilingual Japanese/English.
3) Must have adequate hardware for accessing, downloading, evaluating, and
storing projects, and reporting results. This means a computer with network
access, a web browser, and ftp software. The machine must always have the
latest Java release. CPU and RAM requirements are minimal. The machine must
be capable of storing projects for 6 months. Estimate approximately 400
Kbytes per project.
4) Must be able to analyze projects with multiple source files, according
to the criteria explained in the Assessment Guide. To ensure objectivity and fairness, the analysis must be performed by software, and must cover the entire project, not just a random sampling. The analysis must check indentation consistency, curly bracket style, class field and method naming convention conformity, class field and method naming usefulness, overall and per-method vertical whitespace check, size check on anonymous inner class source, loop depth check, logic depth check, use of and type of exceptions thrown, number of arguments in constructors and methods, and access mode of member data.
4) Must be able to compute scores based on deductions, as explained in the
Assessment Guide.
